bum ba ba bum bummm!!

melymay will have a new layout for us soon! yay!!! just knowing it's by mel, you know it's great!

In preparation for the new look, us admins and mods are trying to refresh the content, removing some oldies
and getting in some- uh.. newies! yeah, newies..

ooh and how perfect is that! It's raining now! Actually, it's been raining all day. :3 good stuff..

But-But-But!! I plan on making a lot of images for the new layout, but I won't make anything yet, because I want it to match the new layout melymay makes. In the mean time, I found a lot of good music "love songs" that I think will go well with the club, not to mention the songs themselves are incredibly good and popular. :3 w00t for jap music. i like korean too but i don't know much about it.

zelemental has joined in the ranks of admin/mod. whether he stays there is up to him. he's in this position so he can upload music onto the page! Again, w00t for jap music. The members will have to vote on ones they like and would like to keep on the playlist. Then, when the new layout is up, I will put the songs I've been saving *surprise, surprise* and I will add the songs they picked to the new playlist that will stay up on the page nyan.



ANOTHER update to say is

The RFL manga is taking too long, it will most likely still be made, I planned on it too much to just abandon it, but my brother and i thought of an alterior motive. We will be making a "written" original story called "Rainfalling Love Story". And there WILL be pictures to go up with every chapter. So it'll be like reading a book with pictures. Almost like a picture book. Yes...


The only thing left is, "where will i be uploading the story?"
Still searching. But I plan to get everything written down and saved to my pc first, then I'll draw scenes, and then I'll find somewhere to upload it. The link to the site will be in the blog, but the link to each chapter might be kept on our club page. Nonetheless, you will always know when a new chapter is released whether or not you come to the blog.

CATEGORIES

In the contest, there are 4 categories in which you can win a prize. Each prize for each category is different. And will be kept secret until judgement day or when we're no longer accepting submissions.

Here are the categories ranging from greatest to least, each with a set of rules.

+ Best banner
the ultimate winner. the best banner overall wins in this category.

+ Best Special Effects
the greatest or most spectacular looking effects used on the banner. from rain to raibows or sparkly dusts or fractals, you name it. best banner in using special effects or graphics wins.

+ Best Effort
not for the greatest "looking" banner, but for the greatest effort put INTO "making" the banner. this is for those who may or may not have the highest skill or the best software, but still participated and did their best to make the banner look as great as possible. it will also be judged on how it represents what the club stands for.

+ Best Picture Used
the best couple pic used. if the banner doesn't have a couple in it, it'll be entered in the other categories, but not this one. now, try to understand, this isn't about using a "popular" couple, it's about the overall picture being used and its rarity.. finding good pics is not easy. so it will be judged on how common or how "easy to get" that picture is, but most importantly, which is the best looking and most lovable.

Nicknames

Many don't seem to understand their nicknames so I will explain each one by order of
the names listed above!

Vatinu - "Vati" combined with the jap. word for dog which is "inu". That and it's fancy!

Sel-kitty (selneko) - My username "selemental" combined with kitty. Or with "neko" which is jap. for cat. But I like kitty more! It makes me sound cuter! ^.^

Aali-Okami - "Aali" for "Aaliyah"! That's what I call her since her username is so long! "Okami" is jap. for wolf, yeah!

Miss Baasa Misa (a.k.a. Super Sheep) - Her friends call her Misa! So since sheeps go "baaa" I combined it and it made "Baasa" I put "Miss" because it reminds me of "Misa"! And well.. the Misa's there because Aali likes it so much! Because of the quote that's now on the page, I turned into "Dr.Cat" and she's "Super Sheep"! X3

Hapanda-san - "Haven" and "Panda" makes "Hapanda"! And for some reason I got into the habit of calling him "Haven-san"! So I made his nickname, "Hapanda-san"!

Duck-Salmutu Salma - You can just call her Duck or Salmutu or Salma! I came up with Duck & Salmutu because of the anime "Princess Tutu" which I just luuuvvv so much! The main character is actually a duck! She was given the chance to be human so that way she can restore the prince she likes so much back to his usual self. His heart was shattered after a battle with a raven.
She is then able to transform into Princess Tutu! A great disguise and powerful form she uses to get each piece of her prince's heart and return it to him!
"Salma" is a nickname phoenixalcott goes by in real. X3

Tengi-san - Tenko-san has been transformed into Tengi-san! The jap name for bunny is "Usagi". I simply replaced "ko" with "gi"!

Rantsuru - Green Ranger and Furuba's Hatsuharu are a lot alike! Maybe too much... I took "Ran" from GreenRanger and "tsuru" from haTSUhaRU and I combined them together to make "Rantsuru"! X3

Spin-UKI - "Spin" for "Spinel" from CCS and "UKI" for "yukiyo" X3

Batty - Because he's a bat and that's the first thing that came to my head. X3

Fanfu - "Fan" for "fantasyillusion" and "fu" for... um... "fluffy"??? 83

Maki-Rin - "Maki" for "makiyasha" and "Rin" from Fruits Basket (Furuba). When hugged by a boy she turns into a black stallion! <3

Ri-Ri - "Ri" for Ri-chan and "Ri" for... um.. Ri-chan! Yeah.. 83

Despite nicknames you go buy in MT, these are your "Animal Baby" nicknames! Everyone who will be turned into a baby animal will get one! <3 However, I decide what your nickname is! Doesn't matter if you like it or not!
